Ductwork built the way Raleigh builds houses
Raleigh is not one housing stock, and duct systems here reflect that.
Older Raleigh homes closer to downtown often run duct through tight crawlspaces with original register boots that have never come off the floor. Newer north Raleigh houses tend to carry two or three separate systems, which changes both the scope and the time on site. Ranches and split-levels frequently have short trunk lines and long branch runs to bedrooms at the back of the house.
We scope each of those differently. That is why we do not publish a flat per-house price — we count the vents, look at the access, and quote what the job actually is. Being based on Raven Ridge Road means most of the addresses we serve are a short drive, so we can come look before committing to a number.
Ask us what we find. If a run is in good shape and does not need cleaning, we will say so rather than add it to the invoice.
Our Process
How a visit runs, start to finish
The same four steps whether it is a one-system bungalow downtown or a retail suite in north Raleigh.
- Step 1
Walk the system
We count supplies and returns, find the air handler, and check how the ductwork is routed — attic, crawlspace, or interior chase.
- Step 2
Scope and quote
You get a written scope before anything is unscrewed: which runs we clean, where access ports go, and what the visit costs.
- Step 3
Clean the runs
Vacuum equipment goes on the trunk line and we work each branch with brushes and air tools while registers are off and cleaned.
- Step 4
Close and walk through
Access points are sealed, registers reset, floors protected the whole time, and we walk the finished system with you before we leave.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
Straight answers about scheduling, scope and pricing in the Raleigh area.
What happens during an air duct cleaning visit?+
We walk the system first, note the number of supplies and returns, then connect vacuum equipment to the trunk line and work each branch with rotary brushes and air tools. Registers come off, get cleaned, and go back on. We show you the access points before we close them up.
How long does a typical Raleigh home take?+
Most single-system homes take a few hours. Larger Raleigh houses with two or three air handlers take longer. We give you a time window when we scope the estimate.
Do you clean dryer vents as a separate visit?+
You can book dryer vent cleaning on its own, or add it to an air duct appointment. Many Raleigh homes have long attic, roof or sidewall runs that are worth clearing while we are already on site.
Do I need to be home during the appointment?+
Someone should be there to let the crew in and to walk the system with us at the start and end. We need access to the air handler, the returns, and every register in the home.
How much does it cost?+
Pricing depends on the number of systems, the number of vents, and access. We quote after looking at the details you send through the estimate form or describe over the phone. No pricing is published as a flat rate because no two Raleigh homes are ducted the same way.
What areas do you cover?+
